What a pleasant stay, I am always skeptical about staying at a private motel with 2.5 stars but Manchester view I would rate as a 4 star experience. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. The room was prepared with attention to detail.

Having recently sold our vacation home in Stratton, VT, this was our first time back in Southern VT. The room was cozy and clean, with plenty of space to store clothing. The bed was just dreamy. Though foliage was past peak, the view from our patio was still breathtaking. We ordered our custom breakfast, included in room rate, the evening before, and it was fresh and ready at our selected pickup time. All exceeded our expectations and we will be back.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable with extra pillows and towels. Muffins at breakfast were fresh and delicious. The people working the front desk were friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay that was also a great value.

The location of the hotel and its beautiful surrounding scenery are both lovely. Our room was stylish, warm and comfortable. Check in was smooth and friendly and the lady took the trouble to advise us on places to eat. Access to the town is very good and only a very short distance. Unlike some other reviewers, we felt that the breakfast arrangement was pretty good and more than adequate.

The spaciousness of the grounds, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Within short drive drive to many restaurants. The breakfast was delicious provided for all tastes set in a very clean breakfast room.

We love the location. Manchester View is affordable and offers the amenties we like. The continental breakfast that you order the night before is enough to give a good start to the day. The homebaked muffins are an added treat.

It's a great location for me when I'm in town to sell books to Northshire Bookstore. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed and it's just an unbelievably beautiful spot!

Breakfast was good , muffins fresh baked yummy yummy . Good select nice variety of food . Staff is excellent very friendly, especially ( dont remember her name) but shes been with the View for 13 years housekeepers and she sometimes does the breakfast room , I was there in October 2022 girls weekend. And again in May/June celebrating my hubbys birthday . When we entered our room they left a small box of chocolates wishing my husband a Happy Birthday really nice touch .

I am really trying to understand how this facility received such a positive review on Trip Advisor. Yes, the setting is lovely and the view outside the door of my room was lovely. And I suppose some of the rooms have been updated, renovated, etc... But my room smelled of stale cigarettes, perhaps from a time when this was not a smoke-free location. There is no doubt that my room suffered from a tired and stale gestalt. And I do, like others, consider the room I had to be more in keeping with what one would expect of a motel and not an inn or a B&B. There was nothing quaint or charming about it. I just returned from a two-week vacation in Greece and all the beds there were far more comfortable than the bed I slept in at Manchester View. I slept poorly here and, while I only stayed for one night, I was happy to leave. Also, it would have been nice to have breakfast available starting at 7am.
